Flooding

An anxious night last night, the river was the highest that I have seen it. Paul stayed up through the peak. The water normally comes up to the end of our street, but last night when I went to bed it was half way up to our place. The tide was on the way out though and it had stopped raining. The water is supposed to stay up today and then recede. I don't know if the new units in the photo got flooded or not. I took that photo at 4.30 pm and the river didn't peak until after midnight. They are along the creek at the rear of the main street.

MCoasters

I mage these on the weekend. Just dodging around in the sewing room. The brown one at the rear was a gift from Jane for my birthday, I thought is was just dandy and thought I could make some for others.

I attended a class with Judy Hooworth earlier in the year- sewing strips and cutting to get the different patterns. Her book is called "Quilts on the Double" Merry Christmas to All
