This is the table runnder that I have made for a retreat challenge that I am going to next month. Ran it up over the weekend. Tried my camera on the macro setting and it looks to have done a reasonable job. I've quilted freehand feathers in the centre blocks and a circular swirl in the smaller blocks. Used King Tut varigated thread.
The theme of the retreat is "Wine and Roses"
and its being held in Adelaide. Will be rooming with my friend Carleen from Georgetown and can't wait to get there.I have also nearly finished another quilt - a small one that I started in a class a couple of years ago.
Apart from that I am continuing to hand piece my pie blocks. I have all the segments done so I'm now sewing them into blocks. Think I have over half done now.
