One for me
This is a quilt that I made in October last year. Started at retreat at Camp Clayton. I found the pattern on Moda Bakeshop. Finished quilting it today. Its been a sewing weekend for me. We (the Thursday night that I belong to.) did a class yesterday from the One Block Wonders book. It was an enjoyable day good sewing with great company. Today I had lunch out at Anvers with my family. Good food and good company also.
As you can see, I have also learned to frame in photoshop, but have to change colour and size.??

January
Happy Australia Day to all. The hilight of my day was cheering on my sister who won first prize in a local art competition that is held each year. Her win was most unexpected by her. On the quilting from I have been busy with a couple of large reproduction quilts for Joanne and then for a change, a bright childs panel for another and now one in Tilda fabrics. So pretty and feminine. I am not colour predudice. I love them all.

Stitching this week
I have survived the heat of last week. And even managed a little sewing on my New York Beauty. I had 24 blocks left to do, and finished 12 of those last week. I also quilted a Beatrix Potter panel on the frame. Real Cute.

Busy November & December
I have been busy with the local agricultural show. I organise the cat section. So that takes care of November.
I have done a couple of quilts and then the Christmas rush starts. This is the quilt we raffled at the show.
Next was dinner at CAsablanca for my sisters birthday . Yummy lamb roast.
Then busy with a couple of quilts off the frame for Frances and Christine and amoungst it all my cruise control gave up the gohst so I' now just using the speed control. Will have to get it checked out after christmas.

One for me
A quilt just because. I bought the fabric at the craft fair this year. Made the top at retreat in October. Put the border on yesterday and quilted it today. The weeds in the garden are still growing. Will get the binding on later in the week
I did have time to show some beauty from the garden.
